Rutgers University–Camden operating information regarding emergency and weather alerts, class cancellations, campus closures, and more.
Rutgers University–Camden is open and operating. The spring semester combines a majority of remotely delivered instruction with a limited number of face-to-face classes. In-person events are canceled until further notice. Use the My Campus Pass app before coming to campus and remember the three Ws: Watch Your Distance, Wash Your Hands, Wear Your Face Covering.
Rutgers–Camden closes only in the event of severe weather or other significant circumstances. Notification of closure is prominently posted in several locations in the event of inclement conditions. To find out if Rutgers–Camden is closed:
- Visit the Rutgers–Camden website. An alert message will appear across the screen and will advise you of our operating status.
- Check your Rutgers email and your text messages. Rutgers will communicate closures, delayed openings, and other changes to the normal schedule via email and text message (if you have signed up for emergency notifications).
- Monitor social media. Rutgers–Camden will post important information via our Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Please do not call the Rutgers University Police Department about weather-related cancellations.
Resident students should monitor the resident email listserve for postings concerning dining hours and, as applicable, snow removal of the residents’ parking lots.
