About Us

The University’s Commitment to Honors College Students Includes:

  • The opportunity to complete General Education requirements in small seminars taught by outstanding faculty members.
  • Professional advising, available by appointment or on a walk-in basis, offering academic guidance and help with resolving administrative issues.
  • A comfortable Honors College home at 319 Cooper Street, redesigned in 2013, including classrooms, a computer lab, and a spacious lounge.
  • A full slate of Honors College Events, Campus Activities, and Service Opportunities which provide numerous opportunities to engage with faculty, clubs, and organizations on campus and in the community.

When students graduate from Rutgers-Camden, they can show employers and graduate schools impressive credentials, not only completion of the Honors College program but also many of the distinctions that follow our high expectations: honors in the major, college honors, and membership in national organizations such as Phi Beta Kappa. Our graduates enter excellent law, medical, and graduate schools as well as succeed in the arts, business, health care, and many other professions.
