Women and Politics: Then and Now

The virtual discussion "Women and Politics: Then and Now" will both commemorate the centennial of women's right to vote and examine the current status of women and politics following the 2020 election. Panelists: Lucy Beard, executive director, Alice Paul Institute; Kelly Dittmar, associate professor of political science; Nicole Belolan, public historian in residence at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Center for the Humanities (MARCH); and Tania Martinez, Rutgers–Camden junior and president, Rutgers–Camden College Democrats. Moderator: Lee Ann Westman, director, Honors College.

This event is hosted in a partnership with the Rutgers–Camden Honors College, the Departments of History and Gender Studies, and the Alice Paul Institute.
