The Department of History and the Business History Conference will host a symposium on a paper by Philip Scranton, Board of Governors Professor of History Emeritus: "Managing Communist Enterprise: Poland, Hungary, and Czechoslovakia, 1945-1970." Scranton will give a brief presentation about his paper, followed by guest commentary by Pál Germuska (European University Institute), Natalya Vinokurova (The Wharton School), and Lee Vinsel (Stevens Institute of Technology).
