Better lives and brighter futures. We all want the same things for the community we live in. That’s why Rutgers University–Camden partners with our neighbors—throughout the city of Camden and across the region—in an intense commitment to civic engagement. Through efforts large and small, we are deepening our presence in the community by sharing our resources to achieve common goals.
Change may be immediate (a spruced-up street) or long term (economic growth or educational excellence), but the benefits are mutual. Our community advances its pursuit of positive change, while the University connects its knowledge to the world. Our students develop as future professionals and responsible citizens, while our faculty see their innovations at work—and discover new challenges to meet.
Engaging lives for a bright future. Rutgers–Camden is making an impact in the Delaware Valley region with effective and practical programs that transform lives and communities. There are many ways you can get involved and make a difference.
