Let’s put a dent in student hunger. At Rutgers, some students experience food insecurity; this can mean skipping meals or eating lower quality food that doesn’t provide the nutrients they need to fuel their minds. The resulting hunger can threaten their ability to succeed. That’s why the Alumni Engagement offices at Rutgers–Camden and Rutgers–Newark are having a friendly competition, the Raptors vs. Raiders Food Drive Challenge, to see which campus gets the most donors. Donations of canned goods and hygiene products will be collected at the Campus Center during the free period on Wednesday, Nov. 17 and Tuesday, Nov. 23. Students, faculty, and staff who donate these items will be entered for a chance to win an Amazon gift card.

Online donations will also be accepted Nov. 16-30.
