Suicide, self-harm, depression, anxiety, and shame are becoming increasingly prevalent today. The #SAYITANYWAY campaign is the simple belief that speaking openly and authentically about our emotions, thoughts, and experiences will help eliminate our feelings of shame. This event is part of our celebration of LGBTQ History Month.
Celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month with a special screening of The Imitation Game. Following the film will be a discussion led by Jillian Sayre, assistant professor of English, and Robert Emmons, associate director of the Digital Studies Center, assistant teaching professor of theater, and head of the Filmmaking Concentration. Light sandwiches and refreshments will be available.
