Our challenging programs allow students to acclerate their education and skill-building as far as they want to go. These honors and leadership programs offer more opportunities, more connections, and more enhancement to Rutgers–Camden students who choose to make the most of their education.
One of the finest opportunities for experiential learning and self-discovery exists for high-achieving students who become a member of the Honors College. Learn more about this program for distinguished learners. Admission is by invitation for first-year and transfer students, but rising sophomores may apply.
Cultivate your skills as a leader in the community and for your career. The Leadership Institute comprises of some of our most active and engaged students who are privvy to exciting programs, events, and opportunities. Admission is by invitation for first-year and transfer students.
Planning for a career in the business world? You'll need an established leadership acumen and network to go with it. Get a head start as part of this program, which provides enhanced leadership training, networking, and mentoring by faculty and industry business leaders. All undergraduate students may apply or be nominated by faculty.
Members of this initiative engage with the Rutgers–Camden community and surrounding areas in South Jersey to partake in activities to advance health care, homeless outreach, education, and urban environmental justice. Students may apply in January for the next academic year.
These academic honors organizations are available to exceptional undergraduate students in various Arts and Sciences degree programs.
The School of Business offers an array of honors programs to recognize students in various business majors.
Students who demonstrate nursing excellence may join the School of Nursing’s Eta Mu Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International.
