Equipment

Through SPARC, educators have access to a variety of scientific equipment, including microscopes, cameras and measurement devices.  Additionally, computers for word-processing, data analysis and Internet searches are available at numerous locations on the campus.

Student Mentors

A select group of Rutgers students work with the SPARC program, visiting schools and mentoring students as they develop science fair projects.

Curriculum Enhancement

SPARC develops activities and materials illustrating the biological, brain, behavioral and cognitive sciences for all grade levels, and provides modules illustrating basic concepts in science as well as free sample lesson plans (other materials available at cost).   Additionally, Rutgers will provide library cards to the Paul Robeson library for participationg teachers to access research materials.
