The Allied Health Sciences Expo is held on the Rutgers-Camden campus, usually in January or February.   It is designed to allow 8th grade students in Camden learn about careers in the allied health sciences.

The Expo gives these students a variety of exciting but concrete goals to help them make good academic choices for their curriculum in high school.  Health care professionals, research scientists, and other representatives of allied health sciences attend the Expo to demonstrate medical techniques and research activities with hands-on activities.  The presenters also provide information and  answer questions about careers in their fields.

Students visit and talk to the personnel at the various exhibits, and also have an opportunity to talk with students from the Medical Arts High School and with students from medical programs at Camden and Woodrow Wilson High Schools
