Once placement testing has been completed (if required), transfer students may then register for classes. This can take place in two different ways. There are a series of group registrations for new transfer students in which students can meet with faculty members from their proposed major to select their classes. If a new transfer student is unable to attend a group registration, he or she may sign up for an individual appointment with a dean in the appropriate Office of Academic Advising to select their classes. The Office of New Student Programs will contact the student with more information regarding the next steps, orientation, and registration.
