Rodney Morrison
Associate Chancellor for Enrollment Management
Rodney oversees the functions that help students to become members of the Rutgers–Camden community: the Office of Graduate and Undergraduate Admissions and the Office of Financial Aid.
In 2010, Rodney joined the Rutgers–Camden Campus. He most recently served as director of admissions at Mount Saint Mary College. He also has served as associate director of MBA admissions and financial aid at the Wharton School; as senior admissions officer and director of minority recruitment at the University of Pennsylvania; as vice president of global diversity recruiting at Lehman Brothers; and as director of the National MBA preparation program at Management Leadership for Tomorrow. “As a first-generation college graduate, I learned the importance of education and mentorship at an early age. I discovered my passion of assisting students to find and pursue their passions through education. Many of the Rutgers–Camden students remind me of myself and I am blessed to be in a position to attract and enroll them to this tremendous institution,” he says.
Rodney is a graduate of the University of Rochester, where he earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as a management certificate in marketing. A native Philadelphian who currently lives in central New Jersey, Rodney is a Middle States Regional Council member with The College Board. He is also active with the National Association of College Admissions Counseling; the New York State Association of College Admissions Counseling; the New Jersey/ New York Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers; and the Association of Black Admissions and Financial Aid Officers of the Ivy League and Sister Schools.
