Transfer students interested in Nursing
Students should apply to the Rutgers School of Nursing–Camden via the undergraduate application no later than mid-March to enroll the next fall. Prospective nursing transfer students will receive their admission decision from the admissions office by the middle of April. Based on a review of transcripts, applicants may be accepted into the second or third year of the program. For more information, visit the School of Nursing.

Transfer students interested in the Institute for Effective Education Certificate
Applying to the Institute for Effective Education Certification Program is a two-step process. Students should apply to the College of Arts and Sciences via the undergraduate application. If they are accepted and enroll at Rutgers–Camden, they should then speak to the academic advising office about applying to the Teacher Preparation Program.

Non-matriculant applications
Transfer students interested in applying as a non-matriculating students complete the undergraduate application and meet the normal admissions criteria to matriculate. Non-matric applicants do not need to submit their high school transcript.

There is no minimum GPA required to apply as a transfer student to Rutgers–Camden. Grade-point averages from previous institutions do not transfer to Rutgers. Transfer students begin with a zero GPA. Certain programs, such as nursing, require an additional application and have different admission criteria.
