Transfer students interested in Nursing
Applying to the nursing program is a two-step process at Rutgers–Camden. Students should apply to the College of Arts and Sciences via the undergraduate application no later than Dec. 1 to enroll the next fall. Prospective nursing transfer students will receive their admission decision from admissions by the middle of January. If they are accepted into the Rutgers–Camden College of Arts and Sciences, they then need to complete the nursing program application by Feb. 28. Nursing only admits students into their program for the fall semester. For more information, visit the School of Nursing.

Transfer students interested in Teacher Preparation
Applying to the Teacher Preparation Program is a two-step process. Students should apply to the College of Arts and Sciences via the undergraduate application. If they are accepted and enroll at Rutgers–Camden, they should then speak to the academic advising office about applying to the Teacher Preparation Program.

Non-matriculant applications
Transfer students interested in applying as a non-matriculating students complete the undergraduate application and meet the normal admissions criteria to matriculate. Non-matric applicants do not need to submit their high school transcript.

GPA
There is no minimum GPA required to apply as a transfer student to Rutgers–Camden. Grade-point averages from previous institutions do not transfer to Rutgers. Transfer students begin with a zero GPA. Certain programs, such as nursing, require an additional application and have different admission criteria.
