First Year Registration Dates
First-year students will receive communication from the Office of New Student Programs regarding your Orientation date. Orientations are held in June and students are assigned a date after they have confirmed admission to the university and taken the required tests for placement into English, Math, and Foreign Language.
Transfer Student Registration Dates
Transfer students will receive communication from the Office of New Student Programs regarding your transfer orientation date. Students will be assigned a date after your transfer evaluation and any placement tests are completed.
- Learn the Rutgers course registration process
- Learn and understand how to apply transfer credits to your Rutgers curriculum
- Learn about graduation requirements for your course of study
- Review Rutgers course offerings
- Develop your Rutgers class schedule for the Fall 2009 semester.
All students will end the day with a printed copy of your Spring 2010 schedule.

9:00 am
Welcome and Introduction to Rutgers-Camden: Multipurpose Room, Campus Center
9:25 am
Students: proceed to their Course Registration Session
Parents: proceed to the Family Orientation Program
9:30 am – 12:30 pm (approx. end time)
Course Registration Session with Academic Advisors
(Note: At the end of this session you should have your entire spring class schedule completed)
Graduate School Student Orientation
New students enrolling in the master's and PhD programs offered by The Graduate School are encouraged to attend this orientation session. Visit here for more information and to register.
