Art, with concentrations in Art History and Studio/Visual Art, and a minor in Psychology
Hometown: Franklinville, NJ
High School: Delsea High School, Franklinville, NJ
Future plans: I plan on attending Drexel University in the fall for the master’s degree program in art therapy. I would like to become an art therapist (and also, professional organizer and artist).
What do you like best about the fine arts program?
I like how unique each of the department’s professors is, making it very well-rounded and allowing me to learn different perspectives surrounding art history.
Have you taken advantage of any special opportunities within fine arts?
I did take advantage of the Professor Hohing’s photography trip to Peru. It had been awhile since I’d travelled abroad, and my dad was able to go. It was an incredible experience. I’m currently assisting Professor Hohing with getting all past photography trips’ Messages to America online.
Why should undergraduates choose to study fine arts at Rutgers–Camden?
It’s an incredibly professional, academic, and scholarly school in which you will be challenged and learn a great deal. I have attended three other colleges, and I’ve learned more at Rutgers than anywhere else. I have a great respect for my professors, including those outside of my major.
