Q: I am a reporter seeking a faculty expert to talk about a particular topic for a news story I am writing. How do I contact one?

A: Rutgers–Camden’s faculty members are available to speak with reporters to lend their expertise on a wide range of topics.  To request an expert, call Mike Sepanic at (856) 225-6026, Cathy Donovan at (856) 225-6627, or Ed Moorhouse at (856) 225-6759.  You may also call us to request a copy of our Faculty Experts Media Guide.


Q: I am interested in booking a speaker for my next meeting, panel, or workshop.  Are there any Rutgers–Camden faculty members available?

Q: How can I obtain press releases issued by Rutgers–Camden?

A: The communications office regularly distributes news about major initiatives and events at Rutgers–Camden.  To obtain these press releases, or to be added to a media mailing list, contact our office.


Q: What is the procedure for interviewing or photographing students?

A: Student privacy rights are a critical concern for Rutgers.  If members of the media wish to interview students, they are asked to first contact the Rutgers–Camden communications office; staff then will identify students willing to speak with the media.


Q: What is the procedure for covering a campus event?

A: Events open to the public generally are open to the news media as well.  For more information about covering an event, contact the communications office.


Q: How do I get to your campus and where should I park when covering an event on your campus.

A: Directions to campus can be found here. Information about parking can be found here. The Rutgers–Camden communications office may be helpful in providing parking guidance when members of the media are able to offer advance notice.
