Rutgers University–Camden graduates who earned degrees in 2020 and 2021 will be honored with a series of in-person commencement celebrations, including a ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10 at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, with more than 600 graduates in academic regalia in attendance.

Rutgers–Camden officially conferred degrees for graduates in virtual commencement celebrations held in May of 2020 and 2021. Those ceremonies were conducted online out of concern for spreading COVID-19, but the university remained committed to holding in-person ceremonies when it was safe to do so.

The Nov. 10 celebration at the BB&T Pavilion at One Harbour Blvd. will celebrate undergraduate and graduate degree recipients from the Camden College of Arts and Sciences, University College–Camden, The Graduate School–Camden, Rutgers School of Business–Camden and Rutgers School of Nursing–Camden.

In addition, three smaller celebrations will be held to honor doctoral graduates:

  • The Graduate School–Camden will celebrate doctoral graduates at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, in the Rutgers–Camden Campus Center’s Multi-Purpose Room at 326 Penn Street.
  • The School of Nursing will honor doctor of nursing practice graduates at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, in the Rutgers–Camden Campus Center’s Multi-Purpose Room at 326 Penn Street.
  • Rutgers Law School in Camden will celebrate juris doctor graduates at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, in the Rutgers–Camden Walter K. Gordon Theater at 314 Linden Street.

All ceremonies are invitation only, but can be viewed live online.

In preparation for the celebration at the BB&T Pavilion on Nov. 10, attendees are asked to please note the venue’s COVID-19 testing or vaccination policies.
