Rutgers Professional MBA to be Offered in Atlantic/Cape May Counties

CAMDEN --  An innovative MBA program designed specifically for working professionals in Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland, and Salem counties will be offered by the Rutgers School of Business–Camden starting May 2012.

The Rutgers Professional MBA Program will provide a unique opportunity for area residents to earn their Rutgers MBA without disrupting their professional or personal lives.  The 21-month accelerated degree program will meet two nights per week or on Saturdays, and will be taught by Rutgers faculty who are highly regarded worldwide for their expertise in cutting-edge research and effective teaching.

Participants selected for the program will work collaboratively, forging a professional network that will jointly learn best practices and theory that will have immediate applications to the workplace.  The Rutgers PMBA curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, decision-making skills, and teamwork savvy within groups of diverse professionals from a variety of industries and organizations.

The Rutgers PMBA includes a nine-day international residency requirement that will immerse students in global business practices.Classes will begin on May 7, and will be held on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 9:40 p.m. at a convenient location in the Atlantic/Cape May region.

Understanding that our students have busy careers and personal obligations, we have crafted the Rutgers PMBA in such a way that Rutgers handles the details for the students, from ordering books for the first day of class to ordering their robes for graduation.  Students in the Rutgers PMBA are free to focus on their learning experience.” 

The Rutgers School of Business–Camden is the first institution in southern New Jersey to earn accreditation by the respected AACSB-The International Association for Management Education.  As members Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Rutgers School of Business faculty conduct research that defines their disciplines and, in turn, helps to define the best practices of industry.
