Pre-Pharmacy Advising
Students who have been admitted to the College of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers–Camden and are seeking admission to a pharmacy school may pursue a pre-pharmacy program of study. The pre-pharmacy adviser works closely with prospective pharmacy students on an individual basis and guides each student on choosing the right curriculum for admission into a pharmacy school.
2+4 Pharmacy Program
Rutgers–Camden also offers a pre-professional pharmacy curriculum in conjunction with the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy in New Brunswick through the 2+4 program. The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy offers a six-year program leading to a doctor of pharmacy degree. After gaining admission to the pharmacy school directly from high school, students may take the first two years of pre-professional coursework at Rutgers–Camden as a student in the College of Arts and Sciences. The remaining four years of professional study take place at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy in New Brunswick after the student has completed all required courses at Rutgers–Camden.
