The bachelor of science in nursing degree program at Rutgers–Camden is highly regarded by health-care providers throughout southern New Jersey and the Delaware Valley for its comprehensive preparation of students for careers as effective nursing professionals.

Four-year BSN program

Rutgers–Camden offers a comprehensive four-year BSN program that begins in a student’s first year. Nursing students engage in a curriculum of liberal arts and scientific knowledge with an emphasis on research and inquiry skills. Professors encourage students to develop their creative and critical thinking skills as well as their spirit of discovery. This philosophy allows students to develop their potential and increase their understanding of and appreciation for the role of nursing in society.

RN to BSN program

In addition to a four-year degree program, Rutgers–Camden also offers an RN to BSN program for registered nurses who are seeking the bachelor of science in nursing degree. This one-year program builds upon the existing foundation of nursing knowledge and clinical experience possessed by registered nurses.
