The graduate program in mathematical sciences offers a master’s degree with tracks in pure mathematics, mathematics teaching, mathematical computer science, and industrial/applied mathematics. The program is designed for industry professionals who wish to update their skills; high school teachers who wish to expand their knowledge; or those who seek the intellectual challenge of continuing their mathematical studies. The mathematical sciences department uses state-of-the-art computational and visualization tools for instruction. Evening classes meet once a week to accommodate students who work or have other daytime obligations.
