Rutgers–Camden offers both MS and PhD programs in the growing discipline of computational and integrative biology. In this interdisciplinary study of biological systems, faculty from the Rutgers–Camden Center for Computational and Integrative Biology (CCIB) apply analytical methods from mathematics and computer science to traditional biomedical disciplines such as biology, chemistry, and physics.
For success in the master’s or doctoral programs, students should have a thorough understanding of key concepts in biological chemistry, biomathematics, computer science, and integrative biology. Graduate students will have opportunities to collaborate on research projects with CCIB scholars from around the world and make significant original contributions to this emerging field.
