The Department of Biology offers a master of science program with concentrated study and research opportunities in cellular and molecular biology, ecology, neuroscience, and physiology. Since the program began in 1971, more than 150 students who have received a master’s degree in biology have continued their studies with PhD programs in the biological sciences and at professional schools. Other graduates hold positions of responsibility at research institutions and in industry, education, and environmental management. Rutgers–Camden offers courses convenient for both full-time and part-time students.
