Welcome to our state-of-the-art, fully computerized language lab. This facility is complete with new capabilities for incorporating audio, video, and digital materials of all kinds into language learning at all levels.
The Language Lab (also known as the "Language Resource Center") is located in the basement of Armitage Hall, room B-2. Map/Directions to the Language Lab

Please note that Language Lab audio files are no longer available online. Please check with the Language Lab staff if you have difficulty in accessing audio files in the Lab.

In order to access audio-visual files at workstations in the lab, students must launch an application called "Soloist" from the desktop. Please click here for detailed instructions.
Please note that written instructions are available at every workstation. If you have any questions please feel free to ask the lab attendant on duty or the lab manager, Edward Docktor. They are happy to help.

- Users of these facilities agree to abide by the University
Policy for Responsible Use of Information Technology.
- No food or beverages (in open, or closed, containers) are allowed in the LRC at any time.
- Please keep cellphone switched to silent mode.
- Please do not use cellphones in the LRC.
- All students must sign in with the front desk attendant.
- "Loud" conversation is highly distracting and is discouraged.
- Do not leave personal items unattended. Employees are not responsible for personal belongings.
- Users must adhere to all rules, policies, and procedures posted at the facilities.
- These facilities are for use by Rutgers University students,
faculty,
and staff. Users must show valid Rutgers University identification upon
request. Utilization of these facilities for commercial or illegal
purposes is strictly prohibited. Illegal activities, such as producing
illegal materials and plagiarism,
will be reported to the proper authorities.
- Users may not mistreat or remove any University property from
the
computing facilities.
