The winner of the 1937 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, You Can’t Take It With You tells the story of the utterly wacky Sycamore family. In their wayward house, everyone lives a carefree, happy life. They do what makes them happy, and ignore anything that doesn’t. All is well, until the family must attempt to act “normal” for the sake of their beloved Alice. When Alice’s fiancé, Tony Kirby, brings his stuffy, “normal” parents to dinner on the wrong night, chaos ensues, and many previously unspoken things are illuminated. This hilarious romp takes audiences on a wild, wacky ride. Directed by Prof. Paul Bernstein and featuring a cast of Rutgers-Camden students.
General admission is $12. Admission for senior citizens, faculty, staff, and alumni is $10. Tickets for non-Rutgers students showing valid ID is $7.
Rutgers students receive two free tickets, which are available at the IMPACT Booth in the Campus Center prior to the show.
