Rutgers-Camden is excited to host best-selling author Michael Eric Dyson, named by Essence Magazine as one of the 50 most inspiring African Americans and one of the hundred most influential black Americans by Ebony.
Dyson has been called "a street fighter in a suit and tie" and takes on the toughest and most controversial issues of the day, including race, politics, and pop culture.
He is the author of 16 books, including Holler if You Hear Me, Is Bill Cosby Right? and I May Not Get There With You: The True Martin Luther King Jr. and is a University Professor of Sociology at Georgetown University.
Tickets for this evening are free for Rutgers students, faculty, staff, and alumni and can be picked up at the Impact Booth beginning at 10 a.m. Monday, September 10. Tickets are limited to four per person.
Tickets for the general public will be available beginning Monday, September 17.
