Nicholas F. Talvacchia

 
 Nicholas F. Talvacchia joined Stern & Weinroth in June 1996 and is a shareholder in the firm and resident in the Atlantic

City office. He has extensive experience in all aspects of land use development including obtaining land use approvals,

litigation related to land use development at both the trial and appellate court level, real estate acquisition and

environmental law. Mr. Talvacchia has successfully obtained development approvals for a number of major Atlantic City

casino hotel expansion projects in various municpalities un New Jersey. Mr. Talvacchia also has obtained approvals from

the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority for use of investment tax credits in development of casino hotel projects

and infrastructured  improvements. Mr. Talvacchia also has substantial experience with urban renewal law and has

obtained approvals from the Atlantic City Redevelopment Agency for development projects in the Atlantic City's major

urban renewal tract.
 

A 1981 graduate of Rutgers College, Mr. Talvacchia holds a Masters in Business Adminstraion from Rutgers University

and a Juris Doctorate with honors from Rutgers University School of Law in Camden.  Mr. Talvacchia is a member of the

Atlantic County Bat Association and New Jersey and Pennsylvania and before the United States District Court for the

District of NewJersey. He is a member Atlantic City Chapter of UNICO National, a charitable-service organization, and

serves as its Executive Vice President. Mr. Talvacchia also teaches Legal Foundations of Urban Planning at Rutgers

University.
