MicroCase Resources

The department adopted MicroCase as its standard data analysis software for undergraduate courses in 1998, and obtained a site license in 1999.  MicroCase is used broadly across its curriculum in sociology and criminal justice. Some courses use a limited edition of the software that comes with specific workbooks; others use the full version (MicroCase Curriculum Plan) that is available on the network in all campus labs and that comes with a wide range of data sets, updated annually. Disks for the Curriculum Plan version are available from Sherry Pisacano in the department office.
