
Due
to the continuing and mutating threat of global terrorism, careers in
national and homeland security will be among the fastest growing
employment categories in the 21st century.
The
Certificate in National Security/ Homeland Security is designed to meet
the
needs of those seeking to enhance their current professional
development as
well as those seeking to prepare themselves for future career
opportunities.
Courses leading to the Certificate are offered in 4—to 6 week
sessions during May—August (Summer Session) and
in December/January (Winterim).
Combining practical information with scholarly insights, courses are
taught by a combination of experienced professionals as well as by
academics whose knowledge of the field enables them to provide context
and perspective. The Certificate is NOT open to currently
enrolled undergraduates. Only non-matriculated and post
