Charles Jarrett

Charles Jarrett is an Associate Professor of Philosophy. He has the B.A. from the University of Florida and the M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. He is the author of several articles on Spinoza, including "The Logical Structure of Spinoza's Ethics, Part I" and "The Development of Spinoza's Conception of Immortality". Other articles concern Descartes, Leibniz, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of law. Among the courses he often teaches are Introduction to Logic, Intermediate Logic, History of Philosophy II (modern), Philosophy of Mind, and Ethics. His other interests include philosophy of language, existentialism and phenomenology, social and political philosophy.
