As Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, observes its 250th anniversary, we also celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of Rutgers University–Camden and the 65th year of Rutgers‒Camden being an integral part of the state university.

Honoring Our Exceptional Alumni

In commemoration of these landmark occasions, Rutgers University–Camden inducted a select number of exceptional alumni in the Rutgers–Camden Finest, an assembly of graduates whose lives and careers have made an indelible mark upon society and the advancement of knowledge. In 2001, 50 alumni were inducted as the inaugural cohort. In 2006, 17 more top graduates were honored.
