Founded in the 1920s, Rutgers–Camden began as an amalgam of the South Jersey Law School and the College of South Jersey. The combined schools became the Camden campus of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, in 1950. Today, the campus boasts the nation’s first doctoral program in childhood studies, a new state-of-the-art law school facility, and a comprehensive four-year undergraduate business curriculum. Rutgers–Camden consistently earns high marks from students, graduates, employers, and such entities as U.S. News and World Report.
