The Graduate School at Rutgers-Camden offers a wide range of opportunities for
intellectual and professional growth. Graduate students have the opportunity
to work closely with our outstanding faculty, who are widely counted among the
leading scholars in their fields. Rutgers is one of only 62 universities to be
admitted to the Association of American Universities, which places it among the
nation's elite institutions of higher education. Our location in the heart of
the metropolitan Philadelphia region draws students from around the world as
well as from New Jersey and the Philadelphia metropolitan region.
At Rutgers-Camden, our graduate students work with nationally and
internationally recognized faculty in a small-campus environment, where close
attention to their educational aspirations is a priority. Among our faculty we
include some of the nation's leading researchers, as well as prize-winning
scholars, writers, and teachers.
This Website provides information on all of our graduate programs within the
Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Some programs accept only full-time students,
but most are open to those who wish to study on a part-time basis.
Scholarships and teaching assistantships are available in several of our
programs. You should consult each department’s program for information about
specific opportunities that are available.
For information about how to apply to Rutgers-Camden, please contact our
