Information for Accepted Students
Congratulations on your recent admission to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers University-Camden. You will also find information below that will help you virtually navigate your way around Rutgers-Camden.
Applications
Admitted students who want their applications deferred for one semester are required to pay a $30 fee. Deferrals of a year require a $60 fee.
RU ID
Your RU ID was emailed to you when you submitted your graduation application online. You will need this code in order to register for classes. If you do not have this code or have lost or forgotten the code you can go to http://gradstudy.rutgers.edu/ruid.shtml
Net ID
Your Net ID (which is different than your RU ID) will be the username and password you created to open your email account and to all of the online secure sites within Rutgers. To obtain your NET ID please visit: http://oit.rutgers.edu/services/account/quick.html
Registering for Classes
In order to register for your course(s) you must submit the Admission
Acknowledgment Form (AAF), which is available online at: http://www.camden.rutgers.edu/RUCAM/grad_acknowledgement_form.php
After the admissions office has received your acknowledgement form you
may select your (fall/spring) classes. The schedule of classes can be
reached via http://www.acs.rutgers.edu/soc. To view detailed course descriptions
please go to http://catalogs.rutgers.edu/generated/cam-grad_current/pg140.html.
Once you have made your course selections please go to https://webreg.rutgers.edu/webreg/
to register online. You will need your Rutgers Identification number (RUID)
and PAC code to register. By default, your PAC code is your month and
day of birth in MMDD format.
Please sign up for your classes as soon as possible, because classes fill quickly. If you have any questions regarding holds, special permission registrations, and course selections, please contact your program of admission for advising.
Tuition Bill
Tuition bills (term bills) will be sent to all admit coming students. If you have applied for financial aid your aid will show on your tuition bill. If you have not applied for aid the bill will show the full amount you owe. Whether your bill has a balance or not you need to submit your bill to the Bursar's office on the Camden campus to confirm that you
will be attending in the fall. If you are to receive any tuition remission from your employer I would suggest getting your paperwork together to be submitted with your bill when it comes due.
If you have questions about your financial aid and/or term bill visit
