It is possible for qualified Rutgers-Camden students to
get a head start on completing
a BA/MA or BA/MS by taking advantage of the program described below.
BA/MA in Childhood Studies, Criminal Justice, English, History,
Liberal
Studies.
BA/MS in Biology, Chemistry,
and Mathematics
How does the program work?
You first complete your undergraduate coursework, taking 5 courses per semester and 2 summer classes. In the spring of your 4th year, you begin graduate courses and complete your Master's Degree at the end of your 5th year.
What are the benefits of the Dual-Degree Program?
- Save time: The dual-degree program counts 6 of your undergraduate credits towards your Master's degree too.
- Save money: While completing your first 9 graduate credits during your 4th
year, you will only be charged undergraduate tuition. Combine that with
the savings from having 6 credits counted towards both degrees and you
save thousands of dollars on tuition!
- Gain a competitive edge in the job market with an advanced degree.
Who is eligible for this program?
- Students must have a high school GPA of 3.5 and a combined Critical Reading and Math SAT score of 1200.
- Students must be full time and commit to the schedule.
- Students must maintain a 3.0 college GPA.
- Other students may be admitted to this program at the end of the Freshman year provided they have completed 30 credits and maintained a 3.0 GPA.
