Parent Involvement

Supporting the Home-School Partnership

Parents are partners at the Early Learning Research Academy. Parents play an enormous role in the education of their children and a well-informed parent population is important to ELRA’s success.

At ELRA, our parents are counted on to continue student learning and to be and active partner in their child’s education. Whether at home (building literacy and language skills) or at the school (meeting with teachers and staff) ELRA parents are integrated into their child’s learning.

ELRA Parent Advisory Council

ELRA’s new Parent Advisory Council is a parent engagement organization sponsored by the school. The council holds regular meetings in order to help parents engage with the school and their students’ caregivers and also to inform parents about what activities and learning go on in their child’s classroom.

If you are interested in joining the ELRA Parent Advisory Council, please contact Jovita Veguilla at veguilla@camden.rutgers.edu or (856) 225-2958.
