COURSE NUMBER NOTES 001-099: College Preparatory Courses - these courses do not yield college credit, but are meant to help students prepare for college level work in a subject. Mostly they are only English or Mathematics courses. 100-299: Undergraduate General Level Courses - these are courses that are usually the introductary level courses for a subject, and are available to Freshmen and Sophomores. 300-499: Undergraduate Upper Level Courses - these are courses that are usually specialized courses in a field, and assume prior knowledge in the field to take. Most have some kind of pre-requisite, and are generally aimed at Juniors and Seniors. 500-699: Graduate Level Courses - these are general courses at the graduate level. 700+ : Upper Level Graduate Courses - these are specialized advanced graduate courses.
